When the parents have departed, not a single special child should turn family less in our extraordinary DISHAA VILLAGE. Echoing the vision of founder Dr. Ranajit Mandal, we at DISHAA are committed to making a difference in the lives of our special children and take pride in our SPECIAL CHILD FIRST approach.
Blue Sky For Them
Yes, they are special. they need special care. At times they have to be fed, be mollified and to be kept under two eyes every moment. Despite all these, they deserve the spaces and recognitions of their own. Their parents worry a lot. What will happen when the parents depart for good ? Or when they go to work ? This worry, this perturbation is quite natural.
We represent 'Dishaa village' of Barasat Vision Charitable trust. We are growing up every day as an exceptional family. Each and every family- unit has its individual as well as unified accommodation and existence amongst eye-soothing beauty. In the campus we'll enjoy well designed flats, common kitchen, school, auditorium, swimming-pool, multi gym, prayer hall, medical unit, recreation and celebration zone and above all invaluable supportive relations. Our aim is one and univocal. No single special child will turn family-less even after the demise of his/her biological parents. Special children will live, learn and laugh here amid love, care and impervious security for the rest of their lives. This extraordinary integrated extended family belongs to you, as much as it belongs to us, and as much as it belongs to them.

Dr. Ranajit Mandal , ENT Surgeon from Barasat, Kolkata, father of a special child after long search conceived a solution and executed a village ‘DISHAA’ where all facilities are designed under one umbrella and it seems to be the best option available at present.
He developed a Trust named ‘Barasat Vision Charitable Trust’
This trust developed the village ‘DISHAA’ where the special children could stay with full security and care, even in absence of their parents.
In this village 44 families having special children are residing as a single family and they are sharing a common kitchen with a 12 hours activity center for the special children running 8AM to 8PM under supervision of special educators , care givers , psychologists , doctors and all other supporting staffs.

The primary goal of our charity is to offer quality education to children living in low earning communities and villages. When a child participating in any of our programs proves to be a diligent and dedicated student, we are happy to sponsor their education into private schools.

প্রতিভাবান বিশেষ শিশু
সামাজিক দায়বদ্ধতা পালনের তাগিদে , দিশা ভিলেজের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ডাক্তার মন্ডল, ভিলেজের আশেপাশে থাকা পরিবারের বিশেষ সন্তানদের দিশা স্কুলে অবৈতনিক প্রশিক্ষণ এর সুযোগ করে দিয়েছেন। দিশা স্কুলের Special Educator রা সপ্তাহে তিন দিন দু ঘন্টা করে এদের প্রশিক্ষণ দেন। এদের মধ্যে এক জন বিশেষ সন্তান (নাম -রাপোস প্রধান, deaf & dumb. বয়স ১৩ বছর )Spl.Ed.Tukai Sir এর ঐ ছবিটা এঁকেছে ৪৫ মিনিটে।
